youtube lo-jack

Is it social or internet scroogery to hate it when people show me youtube videos? i'm fine with sharing remotely, but when friends are together and a laptop is out and someone says "yo have you seen this youtube video?"...

I imagine that this is what it feels like to have your bill filibustered. "no, wait, i don't want to watch this, wait, let me just do what i was going to do, wait damn, how long is this thing, 4 more minutes??…"

Generations previous loved 2 things: to set friends up on dates, and say "have you been to this restaurant? you have to go!". we like to make our friends sit through youtube videos.

Which is why i introduce Youtube lo-jack: a carouseling wheel of your favorite content, which'll be safeguarding your web-surfing sanity from the top right of your youtube interface. It'll pull in your favorite content tweets, espn articles, NYT, etc. and scroll it through at a pre-set roll -- you don't have to click, and like should be the case with most youtube videos, ya friends don't even have to know about it.

if you want to help build youtube lo-jack, send email, and please include fav youtube vid.
